World Mission Far Corner’s river launch ministry is now operating in two countries, India and Peru. Each launch (a specially outfitted boat) has a clinic, a doctor, and nurses. An evangelistic film team preaches the Gospel as the medical staff attends to the physical needs of the people. In both countries we are planting indigenous churches.

In India, the river ministry is on the Godavari River and is now serving 154 villages. Soon a 30-bed hospital will be erected in the midst of these tribal people.

In Peru, the river launch is equipped with a clinic and medical team seeking to reach 350 Indian tribes on the vast Amazon River Basin. The headquarters is in Iquitos and the ministry includes a gospel team and film ministry.
