Film Showings in 4,192 Villages Reach 544,000 for Christ!

The film ministry in India began with a training program for a selected group of national workers for this special service. The showing of the film began in July 1991. Our first film was "Karunamayudu." We now have a series of films to show. It is a systematic effort to reach the 29,000 villages in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Our next goal is to reach as many of the 600,000 villages in India as possible.

In a 116-month period using "The Life of Christ," 4,192 villages have been reached and more than 544,000 people have responded to the invitation to accept Christ. The follow-up is intensive and thorough. Seeker's Conferences are organized and prayer meetings and training programs are established by national pastors and Bible women. Baptismal services are also provided. The Film Ministry one of WMFC’s effective ministries for reaching villages with the Good News of the Gospel.
